  • Includes initial consultation, Traditional Chinese Medicine & Chinese face reading diagnosis, body acupuncture, face acupuncture, gua sha, and head/neck/scalp massage. Facial acupuncture boosts circulation of qi, blood and fluid/lymph, stimulates collagen production and regulates imbalances in the body resulting in skin concerns. Massage and guasha, using YINA skincare, relaxes tension and boosts circulation to achieve a sculpted, glowing appearance.

  • After an initial consultation, a Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis will be determined and treated accordingly with acupuncture. This may or may not include other modalities (i.e. e-stim, moxibustion, gua sha, cupping, or Chinese herbs) as determined by the practitioner.

  • A modified version of cosmetic acupuncture to cater to pregnant mothers. Acupuncture points on the body will be selected based off the symptoms of pregnancy and skin concerns, then retained for 20 minutes. After the needles are removed, a customized Gua Sha facial massage will follow.

  • This service is catered to those who are on a time crunch, prefer no needles, or just want a refresher between cosmetic facial acupuncture sessions. It includes Dr. Ng's signature facial massage, gua sha and face cupping for the face, neck & scalp. It helps boost circulation of qi, blood, fluid and lymph which aids in stimulating collagen production. This de-puffs, sculpts and plumps the skin.

  • Chinese face reading analyzes features of your face that can improve your understanding of yourself, your personality and your purpose. Face Reading can be used to determine where your energies or emotions may be stuck or in what ways you may be not be living according to your path. Ancient Chinese facial maps are used to identify areas of disharmony in the body & traumatic physical and emotional events in one’s life that have impacted a healthy energy flow. It's a guide in your journey to self-discovery.

  • A virtual Chinese Herbal Medicine consultation. After the consultation, a Chinese herbal formula will be prescribed and mailed to you via 2-day shipping (US only). Patient will receive a detailed follow up email regarding instructions on how to take the herbs, as well as dietary or lifestyle changes recommended from the session.

 FAQs

  • Acupuncture is a traditonal Chinese Medicine technique using single-use, sterile needles to strongly boost circulation. It works by using the acupuncture needles to stimulating micro-trauma on key acupuncture points on the body’s skin, muscle and connective tissue to trigger an immune response and other chemical releases to restore balance, or homeostasis, to the body to relieve pain, stimulate collagen, balance hormones, improve blood circulation, reduce inflammation and stabilize the mood to promote overall well-being.

  • Acupuncture is considered very safe due to its minimally-invasive nature. Most people experience little to no side effects. Acupuncture uses very small, thin needles. You may feel slight discomfort and soreness during and sometimes post-treatment, however it should not be unbearably painful. If you are experiencing extreme pain during the appointment, please notify me immediately.

  • Most people can see a transformation after a single session, but I typically recommend people to come bi-weekly for a minimum of 3-6 treatments before switching to monthly touch-ups. Frequency of visits will depend on the skin concern that needs to be addressed, age and state of skin/body health. Facial acupuncture is all about treating the body imbalances first, which then reflects in the quality of skin tone in the face. When the internal imbalances are regulated, it allows for the skin to hold the effects.

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing that can easily expose key areas like your neck, chest, torso, arms, and legs.

For facial acupuncture, please come with a clean face, and no makeup/sunscreen. Moisturizer is okay.
